Hunters, I love you guys – really I do – but if bring down the dps hammer before I get some threat, guess what? That mob I’m attempting to hold by the throat can be all yours. Learn how to manage your threat or be prepared to kite that mob all around the instance.

I really like with they did with this new model. Shorter fangs, interesting colors and most importantly no more googly, crossed eyes!

The new artwork is out for the Tauren kitties.

This is a HUGE overhaul which was way over due. I love how the new forms till have a bit of Tauren in their face. Though the upper left cat does remind me of a certain Disney Villian.

Blizzard has stated that in the long run they plan to update the art on the other Druid Forms in the future. Since the Feral designs are the oldest they deserved the first overhaul, and who can blame them. One would assume they would revamp the Boomkin and Tree forms but we can hope for travel and water forms too. [source]

And please Blizz, update the speed on Travel form!! I would love to see Travel Form the same speed as the 100% speed mounts. /beg

There was some exciting news released today that made me jump for joy. New Druid Cat and Bear forms!! That’s right, Blizzard teased us with talk of  Dire Bear/Dire Cat forms a little over a year ago and they’re finally going through with it. The plan is to release the new skins with the next major content patch which could be months off or closer than we think.

Currently, Blizzard plans to allow the change of your Bear/Cat forms through the Barber Shop by changing your Druid’s hair or fur color which is a pretty neat idea. I can’t wait till this goes live and I hope there will future plans for updated Boomkin and Tree Forms. Below is a sample of the Tauren Bear forms.

We are told to keep our eyes open for the Night Elf Bear form later this week and I look forward to the new kitty artwork.

Edit: The Night Elf Bear Forms have been unveiled. While I’m not too keen on the furry mutton chops, I dig the new look. However, I think the Tauren Bears look better. Horde Druids 1 – Alliance Druids – 0.
