Because of this little guy I’ll be taking a few weeks from blogging (not that I haven’t done that already) to raise our new puppy. There are a lot of exciting things happening in WoW now that Cataclysm is in Friends & Family Alpha. The zones look amazing and I really can’t wait to see more of the female worgen forms.

On a raiding note, my guild had our second defeat of the Lich King last week too. This puts us very close to farm mode, so we decided to take our raids up a notch by throwing in some Hard Modes – which I find very fun. Hope ya’ll are still enjoying WoW and if you’re still tromping through ICC, best of luck in the raiding endeavors.  Look for some new posts in a few weeks.

Sorry for the lack of AFK-ness, but I have a really good reason for it. This past Wednesday I had surgery to remove a cyst on my ovary that was discovered back in July. Everything went well, and I’m gradually starting to feel like my old self. I took the week off from raiding but my guild seems to be back on progression. After weeks of a mental hump on Professor Putricide we finally downed him. Yay! I believe last night they spent working on Sindragosa but I have yet to hear any updates on that fight yet. Before my surgery our guild best was 19%, I believe. So we were very close.

Sorry for the lack of updates. I was socked with a heavy duty cold that is kicking my butt. I’ve been to the doctor so I have medication to help combat whatever is brewing in my sinuses. Hopefully I’ll shake this soon. In the mean time I hope you all are enjoying the recent patch.

Today I will be heading back up to Detroit to visit my family for the weekend and, more importantly, attend my cousin’s wedding. If I have some downtime I may take that to write about my Yogg Experience from Ulduar. That fight is insane in so many ways.

I’m not too far from Canada but I’m back home in Michigan for the Holidays visiting family, hence the lack of posts. We’ve had so much snow that it actually feels like Northrend is in the backyard.

It looks like we’ll have a White Christmas this year. I have some posts in the work which I’ll get to once I finish my Christmas shopping, gift wrapping and holiday cooking.
